Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign-up for Hajj?

The sign-up, registration and payment process for Hajj is all handled through a centralized website called Nusuk. This website is overseen by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia, and is the only way for pilgrims with passports from Canada, USA and UK to register for Hajj. Nusuk authorizes service providers (i.e. travel agencies/companies) to provide Hajj services.

More information on Nusuk can be found on their website.

What role does Jaffari Hajj Assistance play?

Our organization aims to facilitate the Hajj experience for Shia pilgrims from Canada, USA and UK. We do this by partnering with authorized service providers that offer packages on Nusuk, and working with them to create packages that meet the unique needs of our community.

For Hajj 1446/2025, we are partnering with the service provider “Al Bait Guests” who are creating a package tailored to our needs. Once the packages open for purchase, we will direct our group to purchase specific packages on the Nusuk website.

How do I get more information on Jaffari Hajj Assistance if I wanted to attend Hajj in the upcoming year?

Every year, we create a WhatsApp group to keep people appraised of the latest updates. For Hajj 1446/2025, the group link is as follows:

Am I guaranteed a spot for Hajj through Jaffari Hajj Assistance?

No, you are not guaranteed a spot in Hajj by registering your interest with our group. We provide guidance and information on the Hajj process, along with working with service providers on the ground, but you still need to follow the process on Nusuk website.

How do I sign-up on Nusuk?
